The West Branch of the Penobscot River is a family and group-oriented experience enjoyed by beginners and experienced paddlers. One resident; Jack murphy runs Chesuncooks only store with an inventory of three things: homemade root beer kept ice cold in an old fashion fridge, homemade bread, and soft, sweet fudge made in several flavors.
